Christopher Lane
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

With more than 35 years of experience in the Information Technology industry, Lane is committed to transitioning medical photography to a 3D world ensuring that anatomically accurate soft tissue images of patients are economically available throughout the treatment cycle. Following an early career in software engineering and as a consultant with a U.K. government agency focused on the promotion of IT, Lane joined Oracle, the world’s largest business-to-business software company. During his six years with the company, he held VP positions in Europe and the U.S., including head of Consulting Operations. Lane then joined the IT team at EM Warburg, Pincus & Co., one of the world’s leading venture capital investors. In 1994, Lane was appointed as CEO and president of TSW International, which he shaped to be the acknowledged market leader and visionary company in the Enterprise Asset Management market. Just prior to joining the company, Lane held the position of COO at ECSoft, a European IT services provider. Lane has also held board positions on a number of private and publicly held general IT and healthcare informatics companies in both the U.K. and U.S.

Kelly S. Duncan
Executive Vice President, Sales & Business Development

Involved in the day-to-day management of the business including fiscal, operational, and commercial responsibilities, Duncan is responsible for sales, marketing, and business development initiatives. Prior to joining the company in 2000, Duncan was Director of Marketing at Exactium, an emerging growth B2B software company, where she directed the launch of the company’s e-commerce software product, which contributed to the successful sale of the company to a leading CRM provider. From 1997 to 1999, Duncan was a direct report to the Executive VP of Sales, Marketing & Customer Service at Manhattan Associates (MANH), a leading manufacturer of supply chain execution software. In this role, she was responsible for developing and implementing marketing and public relations strategies, which transitioned market awareness from the product to the company prior to and during the company’s successful IPO. From 1992 to 1997, Duncan worked for Peak Technologies, a B2B system integrator, and was responsible for developing and executing the company’s global marketing strategies. Duncan has a BA in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Stephen Schendel, MD, DDS
Professor Emeritus of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University Medical Center

Dr Schendel served as a full-time faculty member of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University Medical School from 1989 to 2008. Dr. Schendel graduated from the University of Minnesota Dental School in 1973. He then completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Southwestern Medical School, Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. From 1979 to 1980 he was in France as a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Nantes. The emphasis of this study was cleft lip and palate surgery and dentofacial orthopedics, both under the tutelage of Dr Jean Delaire. Dr Schendel then practiced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Honolulu, Hawaii, and graduated from the University of Hawaii Medical School in 1983. He then completed a General Surgery internship at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. He completed an additional two years of General Surgery training at Stanford University Medical Center, followed by completion of the Plastic Surgery training program at Stanford. From 1987 to 1988 he was an assistant to Dr Paul Tessier in Paris, France, and the recipient of a Chateaubriand French Research Fellowship. Dr Schendel is the former Chief of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University Medical Center, in addition to the former Chief of Plastic Surgery and Director of the Craniofacial Surgery Program at Lucille Salter Packard Children’s Hospital and Chief of Surgery. He is currently the Chief of Dentistry at the hospital. Board-certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Plastic Surgery, Dr Schendel is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics.


Dr. David Hatcher
Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist

Dr. Hatcher is an internationally recognized expert in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and TM disorders. He received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Washington in 1973. Subsequently he completed two years of active duty in the U.S. Public Health Service and a one year general practice residency program at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Following three years as an instructor and one year as active director of the general practice residency program and the hospital dental clinic at the University of Washington, Dr. Hatcher the graduate program in radiology at the University of Toronto and was granted a specialty in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 1982 and an M.Sc. in 1983. His thesis topic dealt with radiology of mandibular dysfunction. Dr. Hatcher was an Associate Professor and Chairman of the Division of Radiology for five years at the University of Alberta, Canada. He was also Director of the Temporomandibular Joint Investigation Unit and Clinic while at the University of Alberta. He has faculty appointments at both the University of California San Francisco and the University of Pacific Dental Schools. He has published many articles and lectured extensively to medical and dental organizations in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Presently Dr. Hatcher is in private practice at Diagnostic Dental Imaging (DDI) where he has pioneered the application of Cone Beam CT in the Dental world.


William E Harrell, Jr, DMD
Orthodontist, Alabama

Dr. Harrell previously served on the Council on Information Technology for the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) and represented the AAO on the ADA Standards Committee on Dental Informatics. He is a past president of the Alabama Orthodontic Association and is a member of the Technology Committee of the Southern Association of Orthodontics. Dr Harrell has lectured nationally, as well as internationally, and is sought after as an author having written numerous published articles and chapters on the application of 3D technology in Dentistry. Dr. Harrell received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Alabama, School of Dentistry in 1975 and his Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1977. Dr Harrell set up his private practice of orthodontics in Alexander City, AL in 1977 and became Board Certified by the ABO in 1989.
