In the world of security and biometrics the face is the most accessible feature of a human subject, yet there has been very little real work on analyzing and recognizing the 3D information in faces. 3dMD’s standard, flex and 4D technology is now being deployed on world leading field research projects allowing breakthroughs to be made in this area. The streamlined workflow of the standard 3dMDface System enables researchers and commercial companies worldwide to enroll extremely large and diverse population samples easily. Despite this efficiency of operation, the data samples collected are of 3dMD’s recognized medical standard anatomical accuracy. With good organization it is possible to acquire an image every 45-60 seconds in high throughput environments. 3dMD’s technology has even been used in an active US regional airport without causing disruption to passenger flows.
